Terms & Conditions

When booking a place on a Radiology Retreat, you accept the following terms and conditions;

Terms and conditions These terms and conditions apply to your registration and attendance of the event you have registered for. By registering, booking, and purchasing an event [ticket/space], you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to the terms between you (“you”, or “the attendee”) and JCA Seminars Limited T/A Educate by Medica (the “company”).

The event/course The booking of an event is subject to availability and in any event, the company shall be under no obligation to accept any bookings. The event will take place on the date and time as shown on the Educate by Medica’s website, or as otherwise notified to you by the company from time to time. The company may change the format, content, venue, location, programme or any other aspect of an event at any time and for any reason and the company will notify you of any changes to the event details via email.

Charges You will be required to make payment for the event in accordance with the charges and payment terms that you have been, or shall be, notified of. If you are not required to pay in advance of the event, you shall pay without undue delay within five days for an individual booking and thirty days for a group booking. If you cannot attend the event for any reason, the following cancellation terms shall apply: i) ii) iii) Cancellations that are received within fourteen (14) days from the date of the booking shall be refunded in full;

Cancellations that are received more than fourteen (14) days prior to the event shall be refunded 50% of the booking fee; and Cancellations that are received less than fourteen (14) days prior the event will not be refunded. Any cancellation request is to be made in writing to: educateenquiries@medica.co.uk and the cancellations that are eligible for a refund shall be actioned by the company within fourteen days from the date the request was received.

Late bookings If an event or course booking is received within seventy-two (72) hours before an event or course is scheduled to take place, full payment for the event or course shall be payable for individual delegates and for company bookings, a purchase order number is required to secure the event or course. Any bookings that have not fulfilled these conditions will not be accepted.

Transfer of delegates Any request to change the name of a delegate who is attending an event or course is permitted up until one (1) working day before the event or course commences at no cost. A request must be submitted in writing to: educateenquiries@medica.co.uk. Any requests received beyond this period (less than one working day before the commencement of the course or event) will not be fulfilled by the company.

Transfer of booking Any delegate that wants to transfer their booking to an alternative event or course date is permitted up until one (1) working day before the event or course commences at no cost. A request must be submitted in writing to: educateenquiries@medica.co.uk. Any requests received beyond this period (less than one working day before the commencement of the course or event) will not be fulfilled by the company.

Re-scheduling and cancellation The company may re-schedule the event at its absolute discretion but shall aim to notify you of any such cancellation as soon as possible. If the event is re-scheduled, your booking will usually be valid for the new date (subject to availability). Written confirmation of the date of the re-scheduled course will be sent to you and the date of that confirmation shall be deemed to be the date of a new booking and the cancellation terms listed above shall apply to that new booking. If advance payment has not been made, no further payments will be payable by you to us. The company may cancel the event at its absolute discretion but shall aim to notify you of any such cancellation as soon as possible. If the event is cancelled by the company, you will be able to cancel your order. If advance payment has been made you will be entitled to obtain course credit for future events at a value corresponding to your original booking value or a refund of the amount paid.

If advance payment has not been made, no further payments will be payable by you to us. The company will not be held liable to reimburse you for any additional or consequential costs incurred from the re-scheduling, cancellation, or relocation of the event.

Course material Nothing in these terms gives you any rights in relation to the event materials, except as expressly set out herein. You may only use and retain the materials provided to you as part of the event for personal use and educational purposes. Such material is not to be published online or distributed without the prior written consent of the company. Any virtual courses held by the company shall be recorded and available to watch within thirty (30) dates from the event date. If you are unable to attend interactively at the scheduled date and time of the event, a request for the recording(s) must be made in writing to: educateenquiries@medica.co.uk.

Any requests received for the recording beyond thirty days from the date of the event will not be fulfilled by the company. For the avoidance of doubt, the restrictions of the course material as advised above extends to the virtual recordings.

Event instructions adherence As an attendee, you shall comply with all instructions, health and safety precautions and other policies as you may be notified of by the company and/or the event speaker from time to time.

Liability The company shall have no liability to you, other than as expressly set out in these terms. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in these terms shall limit anything that cannot be limited by law and shall not limit any of your statutory rights.

Privacy The company has a strict compliance with all UK data protection legislation. The Company’s privacy policy can be found at https://www.educatebymedica.com/privacypolicy/ on its website, which advises how they collect, use, and store your personal data. These terms and conditions are governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
