Key highlights
This study day will review a range of Interventional Cardiology procedures, providing a CME update for Cardiologists and Radiologists interested in interventional cardiac practice as well as Cath Lab teams and Interventional Radiographers.
Beginning the day with Basic Coronary angiography and intervention, we’ll cover access sites, angiographic views, catheter types, workhorse coronary equipment, balloons and stents.
08:45-9:00 – Registration and introduction
09:00-10:00 – Basic coronary angiography and intervention covers access sites, angiographic views, catheter types, workhorse coronary equipment, balloons and stents
10:00-11:00 – Advanced coronary imaging and physiology covers advanced intravascular imaging including IVUS and OCT as well as advanced coronary physiology with pressure wire assessment of parameters including FFR, IFR, CFR and IMR
11:00-11:15 – Morning break
11:15-12:15 – Advanced coronary intervention includes calcium modification with rotational atherectomy and IVL and advanced CTO techniques including retrograde and ADR
12:15-13:00 – Lunch break
13:00-15:30 – Cath Lab emergency training management of common cath lab emergencies and how to work as a team during life-threatening situations.
15:30-15:45 – Final discussion, feedback and close
