This course is designed to be a highly interactive experience, where participants can engage with the faculty to discuss complex cases and learn ‘tips and tricks’ to aid interpretation.
This course is designed for consultant radiologists who seek to sharpen their diagnostic skills and stay at the forefront of MRI advancements. It offers a deep dive into key areas of radiology, with a focus on interpreting both common and complex cases in liver, gastrointestinal, oncological, and paediatric imaging.
Day 1 will focus on liver and genitourinary tract MRI, starting with benign and malignant liver lesions, followed by expert guidance on imaging of the renal tract and prostate. The sessions are designed to cover a range of pathologies and provide practical approaches to MRI interpretation.
Day 2 will shift to pancreatic, biliary, rectal, and oncological MRI, along with an important session on paediatric imaging. These sessions provide a high-level overview of advanced imaging techniques, with a focus on accurate diagnosis in challenging cases.
In addition to the expert-led sessions, participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning by reviewing real-life cases using GE workstations. This practical component will allow radiologists to apply advanced MRI techniques in a real-world setting, working with cutting-edge technology to interpret complex diagnostic cases. Guided by our expert faculty, these sessions will offer valuable insights into MRI sequences selection and protocol optimisation as well as nuanced interpretation of challenging cases, ensuring attendees gain practical experience that can be directly applied to their clinical practice.
