Delegates will learn how to use CT imaging to support TAVI planning and guidance, take part in multidisciplinary Heart Team case discussions, and gain practical experience with TAVI devices through expert-led simulation. The programme also explores complex and challenging cases, including bicuspid aortic stenosis, valve-in-valve procedures, and redo-TAVI interventions.

By the end of this course, delegates will be able to:

  1. Use CT for TAVI Planning and guidance
Understand how CT imaging supports patient selection, aortic root assessment, valve sizing, and procedural planning for TAVI.

  2. Apply heart team decision-making
Participate in interactive multidisciplinary case reviews to explore patient selection, procedural strategies, and complex clinical scenarios.

  3. Gain practical experience with TAVI Devices
Develop confidence through hands-on simulation, gaining practical experience with device handling, deployment techniques, and procedural workflows.

This course is ideal for both consultant and interventional radiologists and cardiologists who are involved in structural heart imaging and TAVI planning, and who wish to build confidence and competence in this increasingly important area of cardiac imaging.

Each delegate will receive access to their own cloud-based workstation, powered by 3Mensio software. To ensure an optimal learning experience and encourage interaction, attendance is capped at 30 delegates. This small-group format allows for a more engaging, personalised environment with plenty of opportunity for live feedback and discussion.
