Key highlights
Join us in Rome (Venue TBC) for our unique, hands-on, CT Colonography Course for Radiologists and Advanced Practitioners/Reporting Radiographers. This hands-on course offers a unique opportunity for Radiologists and Registrars joining a new CTC service to gain essential skills and techniques, as well as acting as a refresher for those with some experience in the interpretation of CT Colonography procedures.
Using Collective Minds virtual workstations, over the two days you will have the opportunity to view and report around 50 cases in addition to case-based lectures . In addition to this, we will review anatomy and cover the pitfalls of interpretation (incl. accurate polyp size estimation), complications and pathogenesis and epidemiology of colorectal cancer and diverticula cases.
Navigating through Axial prone and supine views we’ll look at a range of 2D and 3D fly-throughs to review haemorrhoids, and malignant tumors and identify polyps that could be removed during the colonoscopy.
If you do not already work within a CTC service, we’ll also provide advice on successfully setting one up within your hospital or private setting.
Clinical Lead – Dr Franco Iafrate, Director of CT Colonography Unit at Sapienza University of Rome
